Cancellation &
Postponement Policy

GENERAL
Synergy is committed to providing exceptional service. Unfortunately at times circumstances of both service providers and clients prevent bookings from proceeding, such as inclement weather, wide spread illness, scheduled interruptions, public holidays etc.

Additionally, when a client cancels without giving enough notice it prevents our coaches from providing our programs or venue to alternative clients. In turn, it also does not allow enough time for our coaches to accept work outside of their casual or contracted employment with Synergy.
For these reasons ‘Synergy’ has implemented a cancelation, no show and postponement policy which will be strictly observed.

CLIENT CHARGES
Clients are invoiced per athlete or as a group. Synergy will advise you as to the necessary type of charge at the time of booking.
- clients participating in our co-curricular activities will be subject to full payment unless the entire
   group booking are required to cancel or postpone.

PAYMENT
Synergy invoicing is conducted on a term, fortnightly and or weekly / casual basis.
Term payment: Full payment for services is made upfront at the commencement of the term program. (In the event of any unforeseen cancellations or postponements please see cancelations tab)
Fortnightly payment: Clients will be invoiced a fortnight in advance of services provided, payment of invoice is due to be paid by the close of business on the last date of service provided in that fortnight.
Weekly payment: Clients will be invoiced a week in advance of services provided, payment of the invoice is due to be paid by the close of business, on the date of services provided.

CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT REQUEST BY CLIENT
Cancellation requests may be submitted via email or text. These requests must be received 1 week prior to the commencement of the program. There will be no fee attached to a cancellation received within this time frame. The option of rescheduling will be offered but this will be subject to coach and venue availability.

LATE CANCELLATION REQUESTS
Cancellation requests received 24 hours or less from the commencement of the program are deemed to be late cancellations, these cancellations attract FULL PAYMENT for scheduled programs.

Cancellation by the client due to weather related concerns must be no less than 24hrs prior to the scheduled session, this incurs a 50% of the session fee.

Rescheduling or alternate venue can be discussed at the time of the request, whilst all reasonable attempts will be made to reschedule, Synergy Sports Science cannot provide a guarantee that rescheduling will occur.

CANCELLATION BY SYNERGY
In the event that ‘Synergy’ coaches initiate a cancellation, an explanation will be given and the below options provided.
- opportunity to reschedule within the term
- credit applied to client account for future bookings
- refund provided for services if term payment received
