Track sessions are lead by Ramona and are an all-inclusive and supportive environment whereby athletes require no specific level of athleticism or experience, just a willingness to learn and participate to the best of their ability.
The sessions are designed based on the participant’s identified focus and goal, covering technique, speed development, power, acceleration and speed endurance. The sessions are suitable for sprinters, (60m – 400m) and middle-distance athletes (800m – 1500m), also suitable for any team sport members wishing to improve their technique for all team sport disciplines.
Coaches will utilise a combination of specifically selected and coordinated running sessions over varying distances in conjunction with drills, power movements and plyometrics to enhance each athlete’s ability to run faster!
The scheduled group sessions 3:15pm – 4:15pm and 4:00pm – 5:00pm although a group setting, athletes will be given individual feedback to better improve their technique and efficiency across the ground.
These session are suitable for ages 8+ (younger athletes will be considered upon application and are dependent on ability to work in a group and follow instructions)
The groups are divided into subgroups which are decided by the coaches and established based on age, goals set, focus point of each athlete. Throughout the session athletes may be rotated between groups depending on outcomes and uptake of each activity.
