Term 1 — Strength & Conditioning

Strength sessions designed to suit the athlete’s level of experience, sport, and maturation.

Athletes can select their age/experience-appropriate group. From there each athlete will work on scientifically recommended exercises for their stage of development while progressing to the next level when ready. Athletes will work to improve muscular strength, power, and endurance while enhancing trunk stability, awareness and encompassing whole-body mobility and flexibility. Our gym is a safe space where technique and capacity building come first before learning more complex movements. We build a strong foundation first to develop a complete robust athlete ready to handle the rigours of top-level competition.

FOUNDATIONS (13 AND UNDER)
The basics of movement, coordination, strength, stability and flexibility. All about building a strong foundation!

EMERGING ATHLETES (14-17)
Building on from foundation, athletes will start to learn more complex movements and techniques. Taking into account growth and peak height velocity, athletes will learn to coordinate and control their growing bodies.

ADULT (17+)
This group includes adults new to strength training, all the way through to elite athletes perfecting their craft.
